Bangalore Jalamandali Abhiyantharara Sangha, the association of engineers working in B.W.S.S.B is always purposefully involved in the technical curricular activities. The association apart from celebrating world water day, Visveshwaraya day, and honouring retired members is also organising technical lectures regularly for the benefit of it’s engineer members. I congratulate all the office bearers for their involvement in the Board’s welfare and for their constructive activities in building the image of the Board.

I am happy to note that the association is bringing out its technical diary for the year 2010. I am sure the new diary contains all the relevant technical data required for it’s members in their engineering activities. On this occasion, I extend my warm greetings and wish all the engineers a fruitful success in their endeavour to face the challenges ahead in the New Year.

From the President’s Desk

Happy New Year to all my brother and sister engineers.
Every year we are rejuvenated with the potential of the incoming new year. I sincerely hope we can start the year 2010 with a refreshed resolution to achieve the target not only with respect to the association activities, but endeavor the board’s mandate. Board has taken up some of the prestigious projects like Cauvery Phase II and KMRP to augment the additional sources of water and provide clean sanitation to the people of Greater Bangalore. Hence these projects have drawn the attention of the public, government, and other related funding agencies and are keeping their watchful eyes on the Board. Hence it shall be the sincere attempt of the Board’s engineers to accomplish the success of the projects in toto and we shall spare no pains to achieve the objective of these projects and further in terms of quality, progress and safety aspects.

Our association has always remained a dynamic body in board with its multi purpose activities. Release of diary, celebrations of world water day and Engineer’s day, conducting technical seminar have become regular rituals. In the recently concluded National Conference on Urban Water Management, our engineers played a key role in managing the affairs of the conference from organizing to technical affairs. The conference was great success and I expect similar cooperation for all the future activities of the association.

                                                                                             Narayana,

Additonal Chief Engineer (K-2) and  President
