L&T voted 'the best company to work for'
L&T has been declared as "the best company to work for in the manufacturing sector" by Business Today (BT), a premier publication devoted to capturing growth and trends in the industry. These findings have been published in BT issue dt
According to BT observation, L&T empowers its employees, has a young professional workforce, offers its best employees a faster career path, and has a wide range of business options to choose for individual careers. In the overall rankings, including all sectors, L&T stood 11th. This was BT's ninth annual survey and for the first time sector-specific rankings were included.
L&T is 'Company of the Year'
Business Standard, the leading financial daily, had adjudged L&T as the 'Company of the Year'. The award was presented by the Union Home Minister Mr. P. Chidambaram to Chairman & Managing Director Mr. A.M.Naik, Chief Financial Officer Mr. Y.M. Deosthale and President(Engineering & Construction Projects) Mr. K. Venkataraman in Mumbai recently.
Addressing the gathering of industrialists, business leaders and governement officials, Mr. Naik said that L&T was strongly committed to nation building. He reaffirmed L&T's commitment to creating shareholder value by successfully meeting the diverse challenges.
