Writing cheques is passé. Receive funds online much faster

Dear Customer,

With so many things on our mind, it is difficult, if not impossible; to manage various bank accounts and their related activities.

These days, we often make use of the Electronic Clearing System (ECS) to ensure that our bills are paid on time or a dividend is credited directly into our bank account. The best example of a facility which uses this method is ‘Online Funds Transfer’.

To give you even greater control over your finances, we have introduced Online 'Receive Funds' - a service that allows you to manage money transfers within your various bank accounts in an easy and convenient manner.

What is required for Online Receive Funds?
A. Beneficiary Account - ICICI Bank Account
B. Payer Account - This is either self or a 3rd party non-ICICI Bank Account

  How does it work?
ICICI Bank Account holder registers the payer account (self or 3rd party) for 'Online Receive Funds'.
After registration, a Debit Mandate is generated at www.icicibank.com, which can be printed by the beneficiary.
The Payer signs the Debit Mandate and provides a cancelled cheque of the other bank to our executive, who will visit
    within 2 days of registration.
The Debit Mandate and the cancelled cheque are sent for processing to the other bank.
On positive confirmation from the other bank, the Mandate is made ‘active’.

All you need to do is follow the steps below:

  Step 1.  Login to www.icicibank.com
Step 2.  Click on Receive Funds under my account
  Step 3.  Go to Registration
Step 4.  Select the Beneficiary account
Step 5.  Mention the name and account no. of the payer

Sincerely,

ICICI Bank Internet Banking Team
