Tomorrow, the state of Karnataka and Andhra will celebrate the Ugadi Festival –literally means - the start of an era. Hindus in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka celebrate their New Year as Ugadi. While the people of Maharashtra term the same festival and observe the same day as Gudi Padwa. The festival also marks the beginning of their New Year 's Day.
Let us celebrate the beginning of this Hindu New Year with great joy by wishing each other and hope this New Year brings colorful blossoms, signifies growth, prosperity and well being for everyone.
